The Role As a Revenue Advisor, you will be a trusted member of the Finance team, partnering with practice groups to optimise the Division’s revenue lifecycle and support strong financial performance. You will work closely with Partners, Matter Managers and Finance colleagues to manage WIP and debt profiles, support timely billing and help deliver billing targets. Support Senior Revenue Advisors with practice-specific priorities and time-sensitive requirements, deputising where required to ensure continuity of financial guidance and support. Review Engagement Letters and matter-opening information to ensure alignment with client billing requirements, identifying and resolving potential issues early in the revenue cycle. Drive the resolution and collection of overdue debts, providing practical solutions to payment challenges and escalating sensitive or complex matters to the appropriate stakeholders. Manage e-billing rejections by liaising with client finance teams, investigating root causes and implementing preventative measures to minimise recurring issues. Maintain accurate WIP and debtor commentary, provide relevant financial reporting and insights, and support matter teams in identifying out-of-scope work and improving fee management processes. Provide guidance and training on client billing cycles and revenue best practice, while identifying and implementing opportunities to improve internal processes and the client experience from matter opening through to cash collection.
