Our partner is looking for a Risk Management and Insurance Intern based in United States.** This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk management, insurance, and business operations within a collaborative professional environment. You will support initiatives that strengthen risk visibility, insurance readiness, compliance, and organizational decision-making. The role combines analytical research, data management, documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders. You will work on a meaningful project while also contributing to broader team priorities and special assignments. The program also provides an opportunity for high-performing students to be considered for future full-time opportunities after graduation. ### Accountabilities - Research and compile risk exposure information to support insurance policy renewals and broader risk management activities. - Review, audit, and track incoming and outgoing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to help ensure compliance with contractual and organizational requirements. - Maintain and update insurance policy databases, including coverage details, policy records, renewal dates, and related information. - Collect, organize, and validate insurance and risk management data from internal stakeholders. - Support the preparation, organization, retention, and management of insurance documentation and records. - Contribute to special projects and additional initiatives that support the effectiveness of the Risk Management & Insurance function. - Identify potential data gaps, process challenges, or inconsistencies and proactively recommend practical solutions. - Develop project timelines, provide progress updates, and present project outcomes as part of the broader internship experience. - Collaborate with peers, mentors, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders while managing assigned responsibilities independently. ## Requirements - Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. - Demonstrated interest in risk management, insurance, compliance, finance, or related business functions. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong analytical, organizational, research, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders. - Self-starter who can work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Willingness to learn, receive feedback, take initiative, and apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. ## Benefits - Remote internship opportunity in the United States. - Summer internship rotation running approximately **May 17 through August 6**, with assignments generally lasting 10–12 weeks. - Competitive pay of **$19.00–$21.00 per hour**. - 401(k) with matching contributions and a pension plan, with pension eligibility after 1,000 hours worked. - Flexible work schedules. - Immersive onboarding and offboarding experiences designed to support professional development. - Dedicated mentorship, networking opportunities, organized events, and community service or volunteer initiatives. - Hands-on, project-based experience culminating in an opportunity to present work to senior leadership. - Collaboration with experienced professionals, peers, and leaders across the organization. - Potential consideration for full-time employment opportunities for qualifying rising seniors after graduation.
