Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Responsibilities: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients Requirements: Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems IA RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply Schedule: 72 hours a pay period Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday Rotation 12 hour shifts 6:30-7 The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
