Part-time, 0.6 FTE day shift RN position with weekend and holiday requirements. Minimum Hour Requirements: 2 shifts per week, after a full time (36hrs/week) training period of approximately 8-10 weeks. * Responsible for the completion of annual required education. **Must also be available all day, Mon-Fri, during a one-week pre-training period for hospital onboarding. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances. Infectious diseases are caused by contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses.
