The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This role follows established housekeeping procedures and works efficiently to support daily hotel operations. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Room Attendant Departments: Housekeeping Supervision Exercised: None Supervision Received: Executive Housekeeper / Assistant Housekeeping Manager MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred. Hospitality environment experience a plus. Skills & Knowledge Strong attention to detail and cleaning standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Good time management and organizational skills. Professional and friendly demeanor. Job Duties & Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms, including bathrooms, beds, floors, and amenities. Change linens, replace towels, and restock supplies. Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness and brand standards. Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, carts, and storage areas. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling. Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally. Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
