What You’ll Do As a Tool & Die Apprentice, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to: Responsibilities / Authority: Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations Attend apprenticeship classes Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules Repair and recondition existing tools, fixtures, and dies as assigned Perform machine work on components for new tools, fixtures, and dies as required Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform Tool Room duties Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Perform Tool Room tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader Who You Are You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have: State-approved Tool & Die Apprentice card or equivalent experience. • High School Diploma or GED • Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam • Must have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training • Furnish required tools • Ability to read and comprehend instructions • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Basic understanding of machining, stamping, fabrication, and assembly operations We Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
