C.O. Williams Construction Limited is seeking to recruit a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer with a strong health and safety background and relevant industry experience. The ideal candidate will possess the skills required to: Carry out workplace inspections, instruct remedial actions and provide advice. Have a thorough understanding of health and safety data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Know and understand legislation regarding Health and Safety and their impact upon the company's operations. Develop and implement Health and Safety policies Coordinating as well as conducting HSE training to ensure that a culture of safety & health is realized and maintained. Investigate HSE complaints and incidents, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering or equivalent is required. Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH or IOSH would be an asset. Experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role or in a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A valid light goods drivers’ licence.
