Sales Development Manager

Job description

## About Agentio Agentio enables marketers to buy creator led ads as easily and scalably as Meta or Google ads—automating sourcing, pricing, contracting, delivery, and measurement—so work that took months now happens in minutes. We're on a mission to transform a $800B digital ad ecosystem by shifting digital ad spend into the hands of creators. That means better outcomes for marketers and enabling creators to live off their work—finally being paid in proportion to the value they create. That shift is accelerating: Unilever's CEO has said the company will move roughly half of its ad budget into social and creators—Unilever is among the world's largest advertisers, spending around $9–10B annually. As these dollars move, they need performance-grade pipes; Agentio is how those dollars flow to creators with the speed, control, and measurement marketers expect. We enable brands like Uber, DoorDash, and Bombas to run creator campaigns with the same rigor, control, and accountability as their core performance channels. Our AI-Native platform enables real-time content understanding at scale, simultaneous reasoning across hundreds of thousands of pieces of content, and intelligent allocation of multi-million dollar budgets. Our models apply more cross-platform performance signal than anyone else in the world, compounding with every campaign through a high-trust marketplace with accelerating network effects. The result is a flywheel: brands get the performance they've been chasing, creators get the intelligence and income they deserve, and Agentio becomes the infrastructure powering a generational shift in where media dollars flow. The market agrees. Agentio has **raised $56M** at a **$340M valuatio**n, including a [**Series B led by Forerunner**](https://techcrunch.com/2025/11/18/agentio-secures-40-million-from-forerunner-as-it-scales-its-creator-marketplace-beyond-youtube/) that followed our Series A within a calendar year. Backed by **Benchmark, Craft, and AlleyCorp.** Named to [**Forbes' Next Billion Dollar Startups, 2025**](https://www.forbes.com/sites/amyfeldman/2025/08/12/next-billion-dollar-startups-2025/)**.** Named to [**Inc.'s Best Places to Work 2026**](https://www.inc.com/best-workplaces/2026)**,** one of 10 companies nationally recognized in the "On the Rise: 0–4 Years in Business" category. An $800B market. A once-in-a-generation technology shift. This is the moment. This is the team. Come build something generational with us. **About the Role** We’re looking for an AI-native SDR Manager to build and lead the outbound engine that fills our pipeline with highly qualified leads. You’ve managed a high-output SDR team before, and you’ve used AI to multiply what that team can do. You have the systems and the results to prove it. This is not a role for someone who runs a legacy sales development playbook with more headcount and a bigger tool stack. We want someone who has rebuilt the SDR motion around AI: research, personalization, sequencing, qualification, and reporting. Your team should do far more with each rep than a traditional team does. You’ll own how we find, reach, and qualify the brands and agencies that should be buying creator media. You’ll sit close to sales leadership and the founders, so what you learn in the field shapes our targeting, messaging, and strategy quickly. This is a hands-on, player-coach role at a company that’s scaling fast. If you love raising the floor and the ceiling of a team at the same time, and you’re always looking for the next lever, this is a great fit. **What You’ll Do** - Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs, running 1:1s, call reviews, and live pipeline inspection - Build and scale a cold calling outbound machine, responsible for driving the majority of new leads - Build and run an AI-native outbound system: automated research, personalized outreach at scale, intelligent prioritization, and tight handoff to Account Executives - Keep testing, measuring, and rolling out new AI workflows, and retire the ones that stop working - Teach the team to work with AI as a core skill, not a side tool - Set clear activity, quality, and conversion standards, and hold the team to them - Hire, onboard, and ramp new SDRs quickly, and build the playbooks that make ramp repeatable - Partner with sales leadership, Marketing, and RevOps on ICP definition, lead routing, and pipeline goals - Report on team performance and pipeline contribution with clarity and candor **Key Metrics You’ll Own** - Qualified pipeline generated per SDR - Meetings booked and held - SDR-sourced opportunity conversion - Rep ramp time and quota attainment - Team retention and promotion rate **What You Need** - 6-10 years of total experience in sales or sales development, with at least 1-2 years managing an SDR/BDR team, where cold calling was core to outreach efforts - A track record of leading a high-output team and hitting pipeline targets - Proof that you’ve built AI-powered systems that dramatically increased your team’s productivity (we’ll ask you to walk us through what you built, what changed, and the numbers) - Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools and sales tooling (LLMs, CRM, sequencing, enrichment, automation), and a strong point of view on what works - Experience coaching reps on outbound craft: prospecting, messaging, objection handling, and qualification - Strong data literacy: you know which metrics matter and can work with AI to get to the answer **Nice to Have** - Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup - Experience selling into brands, agencies, or the ad tech and media ecosystem - Experience building an SDR function from scratch **About You** - You’re AI-native in how you work: you reach for AI first, and you’re not waiting for permission or a vendor roadmap - You’ve moved up quickly, you’re hungry for the next level, and you want to grow into a bigger leadership role as Agentio scales - You lead from the front: you can jump on the phone or in the inbox and show the team how it’s done - You’re allergic to bureaucracy and big-company process, and you’d rather build the system than inherit one - Nimble, hungry, humble, and adaptive to change - You get energy from developing people and watching them grow - Competitive and highly motivated to exceed expectations - Ready to roll up your sleeves, get things done, and work harder than you’ve likely ever worked before, but with far greater reward - A fun, honest, empathetic, and curious teammate - You understand that Agentio is building in-person, 5 days a week **What You’ll Get** - The opportunity to build a first-of-its kind business as an early team-member and make a meaningful impact in the way brands share their stories and creators live off their work - A real path to grow with the team as it scales, with the potential to take on broader sales development leadership - A crash-course in what it takes to scale a start-up, with first-hand exposure to the different foundational business drivers and needs - The chance to work with an exceptional team and help build our sales culture - A collaborative, transparent, and engaging work environment ## **Benefits & Perks** - Flexible PTO – Take the time you need to recharge - Comprehensive Health Coverage – Top medical plan through Aetna - Dental & Vision Plans – Protect your smile and your sight with coverage from Guardian - 401(k) Retirement Plan – Invest in your future while you build your career - $100 Monthly Lifestyle Credit – Use it to shop with our amazing Agentio Brand Partners - Daily lunches and snacks in the office to keep you at your best - Dinner provided Monday - Thursday - Fully subsidized gold tier access on Wellhub (Includes LifeTime, Barry's, Solidcore, Headspace, etc) - Gym in the building! – Your workout, right downstairs *Agentio is an equal-opportunity employer.
