Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job description

At Sportradar, our global sales organisation empowers, elevates and exceeds. We are a passionate and driven team that values client centricity, accountability, teamwork, and integrity. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in fueling our revenue growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, helping to shape their understanding of Sportradar’s value proposition. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a global sales organisation. THE CHALLENGE: Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn) and inbound lead follow-up. Qualification: Assess prospect fit based on Sportradar’s ideal customer profiles and qualify leads for handoff to the sales team. Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in Salesforce. Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed KPIs related to outreach volume, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on Sportradar’s products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value to prospects. ABOUT YOU: 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role (preferably in SaaS, tech, or media). Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage and influence. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Passion for sports, data, or media is a strong plus. Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus. What We Offer The opportunity to contribute to the growth engine of a global sports tech leader. A collaborative and entrepreneurial team culture. Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives. Flexible work environment and global exposure. Clear career path into senior SDR, account executive, or other commercial roles. While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a fully on-site model, with team members working in the office 4 days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together. Certain exemptions may apply depending on location — your local point of contact can provide further details. At Sportradar, we celebrate our diverse group of hardworking employees. Sportradar is committed to ensuring equal access to its programs, facilities, and employment opportunities. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. We encourage you to apply even if you only meet most of the requirements (but not 100% of the listed criteria) – we believe skills evolve over time. If you’re willing to learn and grow with us, we invite you to join our team! We’re the world’s leading sports technology company, at the intersection between sports, media, and betting. More than 1,700 sports federations, media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms across 120 countries rely on our know-how and technology to boost their business.
