Sales Enablement Manager

Job description

# **About Us** We're living through a fundamental shift in how people discover, evaluate, and purchase products. The next generation doesn't respond to traditional marketing -- they build relationships with brands through authentic social interactions, seek recommendations from communities they trust, and expect personalized experiences that feel human, not corporate. At Nectar, we're building the AI-native social operating system that enables this new era of commerce. We believe every social interaction should deepen the relationship between brands and their communities while creating genuine value for both sides. Founded by ex-Meta product and engineering leaders, we've raised over $30M in total capital from investors including GV and True Ventures. We work with brands like Oura Health, Caraway, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Kosas, OLIPOP, and many more. We're building the future of social commerce -- where community, conversation, and commerce converge. ## **The Role** We're scaling our sales team fast, and we need someone to make every Account Executive ready to sell Nectar well from day one. You'll be our first Sales Enablement hire: a hands-on builder who creates the pitch, the collateral, and the certification process that gets reps customer-ready. You'll partner closely with marketing to turn our product and customer stories into materials reps reach for in live deals. This is a hands-on IC role: you'll build the content, run the certifications, and sit in on calls yourself. You'll be the connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, Product, and RevOps — and the voice of the field back to the business. ## **Key Responsibilities** - **Content and pitch library:** Build and maintain pitch decks, talk tracks, demo flows, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and case studies across buyer personas (social, marketing, and CX leaders at consumer brands). Keep them current as the product evolves. - **Pitch certification:** Design and run a rigorous certification program — rubric, scoring, and follow-through for reps who don't pass. AEs certify on internal mock pitches before they get on customer calls. - **Onboarding and** ***ramp*****:** Own the new-hire program for AEs as we grow the team, so every rep ramps quickly and consistently and references it well past their first month. - **Coaching:** Sit in on calls, run call reviews and deal deep dives, and lead small-group workshops. Be the person reps come to when a deal is stuck. - **Product and competitive readiness:** Translate launches, roadmap updates, and competitive moves into crisp seller briefs — keeping the team sharp without making them read documentation. - **Measurement:** Partner with RevOps to track *ramp* time, win rate, pipeline progression, and content usage, and use the data to decide what to build next. - **Cross-functional partnership:** Work with Sales leadership, Marketing, Product, and RevOps on messaging, process, and rollouts such as pricing and packaging updates. ## **Requirements** - Minimum 4 years in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years in Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, or Sales Readiness - Experience at a company with a sales team of 50-100 — you've seen what enablement looks like at scale - Have built or meaningfully rebuilt an enablement program yourself, not just maintained inherited content - Experience designing onboarding, certification, or pitch-practice programs for AEs - Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable coaching reps and giving direct feedback - Process-oriented and organized, with the ability to build systems from zero ## **Bonus Qualifications** - Started your career in B2B sales (AE or SDR) or product marketing before moving into enablement - Background in martech, social media, or AI/automation platforms - Familiarity with selling to consumer brands (beauty, CPG, e-commerce, retail) - Experience standing up enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Seismic, Gong, Lessonly) - Fluency with AI-native tools for building content and training ## What We Offer - Competitive compensation and early equity - Health, vision, and dental benefits + 401(k) match - ClassPass membership for fitness and wellness classes - $50/month mobile stipend for all employees, and $50/month internet stipend for remote employees **For our Palo Alto Office:** - Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, plus 3 remote flex days per quarter (after your first 3 months) - Free lunch in the heart of University Ave. in Palo Alto - $1,000/month housing stipend for living near the office - Fully paid for commuter benefits (train stipend or Palo Alto parking reimbursement)
