Sales Enablement Specialist

Job description

## **About Docker** Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout. We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default. _______________________________________________________________________ Docker is looking for a **Sales Enablement Specialist** to support the day-to-day enablement needs of our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. Reporting to the Head of Sales Enablement, you will manage core enablement systems, run role-specific new hire onboarding, organize and execute trainings, build the reporting that shows how enablement is landing with the field, and help keep the enablement team operating smoothly. This is a great role for an enablement practitioner who enjoys variety — one day you’re pulling a Gong and Mindtickle report — translating data to strategic action, the next you’re running a live onboarding session with new hires, and the next you’re partnering with Marketing on a launch. If you’re organized, resourceful, and energized by helping the sales team succeed, this role is for you. # **Responsibilities** **Systems & Administration** - Own day-to-day administration of Mindtickle and other enablement systems: content, users, assignments, and reporting. - Keep enablement systems organized, up to date, and easy for the field to navigate. - Troubleshoot access and content issues, and act as the go-to point of contact for tool support. **New Hire Onboarding & Ramp** - Build and run role-specific onboarding programs for new Sales and GTM hires, from curriculum design through live facilitation. - Meet regularly with new hires throughout ramp to check progress, answer questions, and be their go-to guide through onboarding. - Directly train new hires on core systems and processes (e.g., Salesforce, Mindtickle, Gong, and sales workflows) as part of onboarding. - Arrange and coordinate subject matter experts from Sales, Product, and other teams to support onboarding training and education needs. - Maintain onboarding curricula and materials, updating them as products, tools, and processes evolve. - Track new hire progress and readiness, flagging gaps to managers and enablement leadership. **Sales Insights & Reporting** - Build, monitor, and maintain reporting on enablement program participation, completion, and effectiveness across Mindtickle and other systems. - Partner with Sales leadership to translate Gong call analytics and other field data into actionable insights on rep performance, messaging adoption, and skill gaps. - Use enablement and conversation intelligence data to identify where the GTM team needs more support, and recommend enablement programs to close the gaps. - Present reporting and insights to enablement and Sales leadership to inform program priorities. **Training & Program Execution** - Organize and execute ongoing sales enablement trainings, workshops, and certifications for the field. - Handle logistics for enablement programs: scheduling, communications, materials, and follow-up. - Create sales enablement content as needed — quick-reference guides, updates, and job aids. **Cross-Functional Support & Operations** - Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders to support enablement needs. - Support the operational backbone of the Enablement team: calendars, budgets, and program tracking. - Gather feedback data to help the team continuously improve programs. # **Qualifications** **Required** - 2+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, learning & development, or a related role, ideally in SaaS. - Hands-on experience administering an LMS or sales enablement platform (Mindtickle strongly preferred). - Experience supporting or running onboarding programs for a sales or GTM team, including live facilitation. - Experience building or interpreting reporting on enablement participation, completion, and program effectiveness. - Familiarity with conversation intelligence platforms such as Gong (or similar), and using call data to surface coaching and enablement insights. - Strong organizational and project management skills — you can juggle multiple programs and deadlines. - Comfortable creating content, including documents, guides, and presentations. - Excellent communication skills and a service-minded, “how can I help” approach to the field. - Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership. **Strongly Preferred** - Direct experience administering Mindtickle and Gong (or a similar sales engagement/conversation intelligence platform). - Experience designing or facilitating live or virtual sales training sessions. - Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message or similar frameworks. - Comfort working with reporting or BI tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Sigma) to build enablement dashboards. - Exposure to containerization, DevOps tooling, or developer platforms (Docker experience a significant plus). # **What to Expect** We believe in setting people up to win. Here’s what great looks like in this role: ## **First 30 Days — Learn & Listen** - Ramp on Docker’s products, GTM motion, and current enablement programs and systems. - Shadow onboarding sessions and get hands-on in Mindtickle and Gong. - Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, and the Enablement team. ## **First 90 Days — Take Ownership** - Own day-to-day Mindtickle administration and at least one full onboarding cohort, including live sessions and 1:1s with new hires. - Stand up an initial enablement reporting view covering participation, completion, and Gong-based insights. - Independently execute a training or certification program for the field. ## **First Year — Drive Impact** - Be the trusted owner of enablement systems, onboarding, and reporting, with new hires ramping faster and leadership relying on your insights. - Run trainings and programs independently and be seen as a dependable Enablement partner. - Use enablement and Gong data to proactively recommend where the GTM team needs more support. **Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.** **Compensation & Equity** **Canada:** CA$135,100– CA$193,000 + equity **United States:** $97,300 – $139,00 + equity ______________________________________________________________________ ## **Posting Information** - **Open vacancy:** This posting is for an existing open role. - **AI in hiring:** Docker may use AI-assisted tools during our recruiting process. - **Interview recordings:** Candidates will be invited to opt in to interview recordings to support interviewer calibration and consistent evaluations. Recordings are optional and require explicit consent. ______________________________________________________________________ ## **Perks & Benefits** - **Remote-first by design** – Work from your home, with offices in Seattle and Paris for connection and collaboration. - **Flexibility that fits your life** – We trust you to manage your schedule while delivering great work. - **Time to recharge** – Generous PTO, designated quarterly Whaleness Days, and a designated end-of-year Whaleness break. - **Home office support** – Set up your workspace for comfort and success. - **Technology stipend** – Equivalent to **US$100 net per month** to help support your work. - **Learning & development** – Annual stipend for conferences, courses, certifications, and continued learning. - **Parental leave** – 16 weeks of paid parental leave after six months of employment. - **Equity for all full-time employees** – Share in Docker's long-term success as we continue to grow. - **Comprehensive benefits** – Medical, retirement, and paid holidays vary by country. - **Docker swag** – Because representing the whale never gets old. *Docker is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe diverse teams build better products, make better decisions, and better serve our global community.* #LI-REMOTE
