For more info visit: https://www.staubli.com/en-in/ Job Description OBJECTIVE/MISSION Sales engineer – Industrial will be responsible for the development Industrial Business by promoting the ECS GI product portfolio including cable assembly, Engineers to order (ETO) products along with new customer development, OEM development and in turn creating profitable growth for the Electrical Connectors – General Industries Division. Roles and Responsibilities: The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities: In depth Knowledge of Electrical Connecting solution & Industrial Cables. Able to read & understand wiring harness drawings. Business development of harness solution. Deep knowledge of Automotive, Industrial, Medical & Healthcare market. Real-time assessment of our business position in the defined territory (i.e., SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.) Creation of a solid business plan and on-going activity plan. Create Sales plan and Implement the Sales strategy. Execution of all sales processes and strategies. Conduct Technology seminars and product presentation. Accurate sales forecasting. Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Need to manage the existing customers, visit existing clients, and develop relationships. Need to develop new customers, OEMs in assigned region & market segments. Participate and take complete responsibility of product promotions through exhibitions, seminars, conferences, presentations etc. Achieve the Sales targets and goals set for the Industrial Business. Ability to propose realistic technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements. Ability to manage the long sales cycle from initial contact to first order, steps both technical and sales related that need to be addressed one by one. **Any other responsibility as per discretion of management YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE 6+ years of Industrial Sales Experience handling sales & business development of Electrical Connecting solution or related Electrical products Qualifications QUALIFICATION B.E./B. Tech. – Electrical / Electronics stream T ARGET INDUSTRIES AND COMPANIES CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS / ETO (Engineers to order) / Complete solution. Significant experience of working with Automotive, Industrial Machinery, medical & healthcare and Logistics market COMPETENCIES Technical Good knowledge of Electrical Connectors & related Electrical products market in the Industrial segment Good knowledge of Industrial Cables – Types & specification, international standards etc. Expertise in selling Electrical products & customized solution to Strong commercial awareness Knowledge of working with Sales CRM and taking care of reporting Behavioral Excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills Customer focused and Adept in Customer interfacing skills, able to establish relations with the Internal and external stakeholders Strong organizational skills Strategic Thinking skills Highly motivated, driven and result oriented Excellent team management & influencing skills Additional Information #LI-PB1
