**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Platform Architect based in the United States.** This role offers the opportunity to shape scalable Salesforce architecture supporting high-impact federal technology and healthcare initiatives. You will provide technical leadership across enterprise-level Salesforce implementations, ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with business needs. The position combines hands-on architectural expertise with strategic guidance, governance, and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. You will help define integration strategies, data models, development standards, and platform performance practices. As a technical leader, you will mentor development teams and influence architectural decisions across a large-scale Salesforce environment. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while contributing to mission-critical digital transformation programs. ### Accountabilities - Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with program requirements and enterprise standards. - Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms and capabilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective Salesforce solutions. - Define, maintain, and enforce Salesforce development standards, architectural best practices, security controls, and governance policies. - Evaluate integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and related technologies to determine appropriate solutions for complex enterprise requirements. - Oversee data modeling, security architecture, system performance, scalability, and platform optimization. - Lead rigorous code reviews and pull request evaluations to ensure high standards for architecture, security, maintainability, and performance. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and engineering teams. - Communicate architectural decisions, technical strategies, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Support continuous improvement of development practices, DevOps processes, automated testing, and delivery standards. - Work effectively in a distributed environment while maintaining strong collaboration, communication, and delivery discipline. ### **Requirements** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and enterprise implementation. - Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and broader Salesforce platform capabilities. - Strong technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and platform architecture. - Proven experience with Salesforce data modeling, enterprise integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CodeScan, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and Salesforce release processes. - Demonstrated ability to design scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions. - Strong experience conducting technical reviews and enforcing architectural, security, and performance standards. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. - Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to mentor technical teams and influence architectural decisions. - Comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. - Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across distributed teams. - U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required, along with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect are preferred. - Experience with large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations is highly desirable. - Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is advantageous. ### **Benefits** - Opportunity to contribute to high-visibility federal missions spanning information technology and healthcare. - Comprehensive benefits designed to support employees and their families. - Access to modern and cutting-edge tools and technologies. - A collaborative culture focused on innovation, professional growth, and quality. - Career development opportunities with a focus on rewarding ambition and performance. - Opportunity to influence large-scale Salesforce transformation initiatives and enterprise architecture. - Compensation is determined based on factors including experience, skills, location, and role requirements.
