Job description
**Location: Remote (U.S.)** **Pay Range:** $121,100 - $137,900 **Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust** **LTS** is seeking a **Salesforce Platform Architect** with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices, as well as extensive experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations, to support a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives. The candidate will support the Salesforce Center of Excellence as part of the new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) OMEGA Contract. **What You'll Do:** - Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirements - Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives - Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies - Evaluate and recommend integration patterns and middleware solutions - Oversee data modeling, security architecture, and platform performance optimization - Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams - Communicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Work effectively and efficiently in a remote work environment **What We're Looking For:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation - Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities - Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs - Experience with data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CodeScan, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Salesforce environments - Lead rigorous code reviews and PR evaluations to enforce high standards of system architecture, security, and performance - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions - Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Nice to Have:** - Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect - Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce.
