SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant II - Remote Latam

**Location:** Remote | LATAM **Employment Type:** Full-Time ## **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced **SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant II** to support, configure, and optimize SAP IS-U Billing solutions for utility clients. In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, implement enhancements, and support end-to-end meter-to-cash processes. This position combines project-based enhancement work with ongoing application support, helping ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable billing operations for enterprise utility environments. ## **What You’ll Do** - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for SAP IS-U Billing enhancements and projects. - Configure, maintain, and support SAP IS-U Billing to meet evolving business needs. - Configure and support key billing functions, including: - Rates and operand configuration - Billing schemas - Bill corrections - Budget billing - Invoicing - Bill print forms - Participate throughout the full enhancement lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, training, deployment, and post-production support. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues affecting billing operations. - Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions. - Maintain functional documentation, process flows, and user guides. - Support data integrity, reporting, and compliance initiatives. - Perform root cause analysis for billing issues and recommend long-term improvements. - Execute and support testing activities for releases, upgrades, and production deployments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting SAP FI-CA, Device Management, and Customer Service. - Support service requests, defect resolution, and minor system enhancements. - Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational support procedures. - Participate in an on-call support rotation as needed. - Stay current with SAP Utilities best practices, product updates, and emerging technologies. ## **What We’re Looking For** ## **Required Qualifications** - 3–5 years of functional experience with SAP IS-U Billing. - Hands-on experience configuring SAP IS-U Billing. - Strong knowledge of: - Rate configuration - Bill print - Billing exception analysis - Understanding of utility meter-to-cash business processes. - Experience supporting production environments and resolving billing-related issues. - Strong business requirements gathering and functional documentation skills. - Ability to evaluate impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Customer Service, and related SAP IS-U modules. - Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders. ## **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with SAP FI-CA. - Exposure to SAP Device Management. - SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience. - Experience working within an Application Management Services (AMS) or Managed Services environment. - Experience using Jira. - Previous experience within the utilities industry. ## **Who You Are** - **Analytical** – You enjoy solving complex business and system challenges. - **Business-Oriented** – You understand how technology enables operational success. - **Collaborative** – You communicate effectively and build strong partnerships across technical and business teams. - **Detail-Oriented** – You produce accurate configurations, documentation, and testing results. - **Proactive** – You identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of solutions. - **Adaptable** – You thrive in dynamic environments and embrace continuous learning. ## **Join Us and Enjoy These Perks!** - **Competitive Salary:** Earn a USD salary that matches your skills and experience. - **Paid Time Off:** We value work-life balance, offering PTO so you can recharge. - **Health Insurance Subsidy:** Your health matters, and we help with a subsidy to cover your care. - **Salary Reviews every year!** - **Paid Training and Certifications** Ready to put your puzzle-solving skills to the test?
