Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more! The Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivering pizzas through the resort properties and city in a timely manner. This is a part- or full-time position with night and weekend availability. Essential duties and tasks of the position include but are not limited to: • Receiving Orders: ◦ Pick up orders from the kitchen or POS system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. ◦ Verify that the correct items, including special requests, are included. ◦ Check food quality to ensure it’s properly cooked and packaged. • Packing and Loading: ◦ Securely package the food to prevent damage during transport. ◦ Organize orders in the vehicle for easy access during delivery. • Driving and Navigating: ◦ Plan efficient routes, considering traffic and road conditions. ◦ Use GPS for accurate delivery, especially to new addresses. ◦ Follow traffic laws to ensure timely, safe deliveries. • Customer Interaction: ◦ Greet customers politely, confirm orders, and ensure satisfaction. ◦ Handle payments and provide receipts as needed. • Ensuring Food Quality: ◦ Maintain the right temperature by using insulated bags. ◦ Deliver within the promised time frame, ensuring the food arrives hot. • Communication with the Restaurant: ◦ Report any delays caused by traffic or vehicle issues. ◦ Update the staff on deliveries and pick up new orders. • Customer Service: ◦ Handle complaints professionally and notify the restaurant for resolution. ◦ Provide excellent service to encourage repeat business. • Miscellaneous Duties: ◦ Assist with light restaurant tasks like restocking or organizing delivery bags. • Key Skills: ◦ Safe driving and traffic law adherence. ◦ Good time management during busy periods. ◦ Physical stamina for long periods of driving and carrying food. ◦ Ability to handle unexpected delays or issues with delivery order. *Wilderness Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer*
