Security Manager | Opening Mama Shelter Mexico City

Job description

THE MISSION? Our guests, our team and our house sleep easy because you're watching over them 🌙🔒. You are the calm in the chaos: you anticipate risks, keep an eye on every corner (without ever making it feel like Big Brother 👀) and make sure Mama's home stays a safe, joyful place, day and night. You recruit, train, lead & coordinate the Security team, and you're the first name on the call sheet when something needs handling. 📋👥 You design and roll out safety, fire and emergency procedures, and you make sure the whole hotel — from the front desk to the rooftop — knows the drill (literally). 🔥🚨 You're the friendly link 🔗 between our teams, our guests, local authorities and neighbors, always fair, always discreet, always Mama. You manage access control, CCTV monitoring and incident reporting, and when things get spicy 🌶️, you de-escalate before they combust. You keep a close watch over events, parties and our (very lively 🎉) rooftop, without ever killing the vibe. The guest experience must feel free and easy ✨, and you're the one quietly making sure it stays that way 🤝. MADE FOR YOU? ONLY IF… Your presence is reassuring, not intimidating; you're the friendly bouncer everyone secretly loves 🥷. You know how to read a room before it reads you: you spot trouble before it starts. 🔍 You know how to mobilize the necessary resources (Human, Technical & Administrative) to keep the house safe. You know how to enforce the rules without turning into Robocop 🤖. With excellent people skills, you never run out of calm when faced with a heated situation. You know how to manage pressure and stress; Master Yoda taught you everything… Confidentiality is important to you: what happens to Mama stays with Mama 🤐. You know how to use the right tools to report to your management: your incident reports are as sharp as your instincts. You get your hands dirty and think that leading by example is the key to success. You know how to keep occupancy AND everyone's peace of mind at 100%: SAFETY FIRST! 💯🛡️ True teacher, you like to transmit your knowledge and train the young Padawans into Jedi (of security). YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS : For you, Ocean's Eleven is not just a heist movie but above all, a masterclass in security gaps 😅🎬. You are a real leader, and you know how to keep a team calm under pressure! You're fluent in CCTV systems, access control software and walkie-talkie etiquette 📻. You know Mexico City and its neighborhood La Roma like the back of your hand — every street, every shortcut, every rhythm of the barrio. 🌆 Unbeatable at chess ♟️, you always think three moves ahead. We’re sure you know the beat🎶 : 1st verse : We set up a first telephone interview with our HR if your application moves to our rhythm. Chorus : After the successful telephone interview, we will see you at Mama, be ready! (chorus x2 depending on the position) Last verse : Mama won’t leave you wondering; you will have an answer from us whatever the outcome.
