Segment Marketing Specialist

Job Title Segment Marketing Specialist Job Description Axis Communications is looking for a driven, strategic Segment Marketing Specialist ( DACH ) to join our Marketing team in Ismaning , Munich. If you get energy from building demand engines from scratch, translating complex technology value into campaigns that actually move revenue, and opening doors with entirely new customer segments — this is your opportunity to shape the next phase of Axis growth across the German-speaking market. WHAT IS AXIS? Axis Communications is a fast-growing, innovative IT company with Swedish roots and a global reach. With over 5,000 employees in 50+ countries, we create cutting-edge security and surveillance solutions that make the world smarter and safer. At Axis, creativity and independent thinking thrive in a multicultural, open-minded workplace, where passionate people come together to innovate for a smarter, safer world. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Create Demand. Open Doors. Drive Growth. Demand creation sits at the heart of this role. Your mission is to establish Axis as the preferred technology vendor across new industries and customer segments in DACH — reaching beyond our core installed base into IT (including Cloud and AI), Business Intelligence, and Operational Efficiency markets. As we scale our Middle Europe marketing organisation, you will take full ownership of new marketing initiatives, shape how we acquire new logos, and help build a strong Axis presence in emerging categories across the German-speaking market. Net-New Business Demand Creation: You own new logo marketing acquisition across DACH, designing targeted demand generation programs that reach and engage key IT buyer personas — CIOs, CISOs, Heads of Infrastructure, and IT Operations leaders. You translate Axis value propositions for IT, Cloud, AI, Business Intelligence, and Operational Efficiency into compelling, scalable demand engines grounded in local market knowledge and data. You design and run account-based and segment-focused campaigns that identify high-potential accounts, engage them with relevant content, and expand pipeline with measurable revenue impact. You plan and deliver mid-funnel initiatives — co-creation workshops, roundtables, webinars, industry forums, and speaker opportunities — to surface emerging opportunities early and build market presence. You bring incubation product areas into the new business marketing plan, turning them into concrete initiatives that win visibility and footprint. You work closely with DemandGen, Comms, Channel, Events, Sales, and the DACH and BNL Management Teams to execute locally-driven campaigns with measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes. Marketing Plan — Development & Execution: You develop and execute a prioritised marketing plan in close collaboration with sales and marketing stakeholders across Germany, Middle Europe, and EMEA. You plan and deliver initiatives across all relevant target groups, aligned with regional sales priorities and industry opportunities. You drive digital, demand, and lead generation programs together with the Digital Marketing Specialist, positioning Axis solutions and values effectively. You strengthen the partner ecosystem through enablement initiatives, clear messaging, and joint co-marketing activities alongside the Channel Marketing Team and Sales. You act as a central coordination point between internal teams, partners, agencies, and suppliers, ensuring aligned and high-quality execution. You manage budgets, timelines, and logistics, keeping every initiative on-brand and efficiently delivered. You lead performance tracking and post-campaign reporting — including lead follow-up, ROI analysis, and continuous optimisation with the Digital Marketing Specialist. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You are a proactive marketer who genuinely enjoys owning a project end-to-end — from strategy through to execution and results. You know how to translate technical value into messaging that resonates, and you're comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities at once, without losing sight of the details. We would love to hear from you if you have/are: A university or bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communication Strong, demonstrated experience in marketing execution, ideally within an IT or technology vendor environment Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to plan projects and manage timelines and budgets Experience collaborating across teams, delegating effectively, and coordinating multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality results Clear, persuasive communication skills with diverse internal and external audiences Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English (other languages are a plus) Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences at every level Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders, with strong attention to detail and follow-through A structured approach to prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment A creative, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine team player attitude Curiosity and openness to experimenting with new platforms, tools, and tactics Don't tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you. We hire for potential and passion as much as for experience. WHERE WILL YOU BE BASED? This role is based in Ismaning, Munich, with occasional travel within the region. WHAT CAN AXIS OFFER? At Axis, you will be working within an international organisation surrounded by enthusiastic people in an open-minded and innovative culture. We are growing rapidly, which means new challenges and opportunities to grow personally and professionally happen every day. A high-ownership role at the heart of Axis's expansion into new markets and segments Close collaboration with a passionate, cross-functional Middle Europe marketing team Internal events across Middle Europe and the EMEA region Axis pension contribution 100 days fully paid parental leave (gender neutral) Individual training opportunities through the Axis Academy READY TO ACT? Axis is a company realising the benefits of a diverse workforce. We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity — something that is fundamental to our success.
