Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with speech and language difficulties, helping them engage with classroom activities and learning tasks. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt resources and strategies that support speech and language development. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and SEN staff on a regular basis. Assist in managing any behavioural challenges related to communication difficulties, using appropriate intervention strategies. Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience working with children with speech and language difficulties is highly desirable. Knowledge or experience in speech and language therapy or related interventions is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside teachers and SEN staff. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning. A clear DBS check. Legal right to work in the UK.
