Senior Account Executive, DACH (German-speaking, Hamburg)

Job description

## **Our mission and why it matters** We are on a mission to make humans the strongest security layer. Human risk remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities and traditional awareness training is not enough. We take a different approach by combining AI-driven personalization, real threat detection, and behavioral science to actively protect people and organizations. We don't just simulate risks. We build the tools that detect and stop them. ## **Why this role matters** The DACH region is currently our largest growth market in EMEA, generating an incredible amount of pipeline. With a highly certified product and an exceptional service that customers genuinely love, we have laid a strong foundation. We are now looking for a highly self-motivated Senior Account Executive who excels at taking those enterprise opportunities, multi-threading to economic buyers, and guiding them successfully through complex procurement cycles. You will be joining a team that has already proven it can support companies in seeing the value of the service, making this a prime opportunity to drive significant revenue rather than a speculative territory. Crucially, as our business results grow, you will be instrumental in helping us lay the groundwork for our future local hub in the Hamburg area. **What you’ll own and drive** You will take full ownership of the sales cycle for enterprise accounts in the DACH market, expertly guiding deals from initial pipeline through complex procurement to closed-won. Driving multi-threaded deals is second nature to you, as you reach economic buyers early and confidently hold the line on price objections. You will lead POC-led selling initiatives with real, concrete exit criteria to ensure successful outcomes, all while partnering closely with an SDR to prioritize opportunities and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene with customer-owned next steps. **What success looks like** • In your first 3 months you'll be fully onboarded, deeply understand our qualification framework, and have a few opportunities moving past the initial stages with real, dated next steps. • By month 6, you'll operate independently, managing an active pipeline, progressing opportunities consistently to late stage pipeline, and building your new business ARR towards quota. **What makes you thrive here** You have native-level or full business proficiency in German, alongside strong working proficiency in English, and several years of experience as a closing AE in B2B SaaS. Specifically, you have a proven track record of taking deals through procurement in fast-paced software or licensing sales, rather than just generating them. You bring a strong commercial backbone and comfort with multi-threading to an economic buyer before a proposal ever goes out. Above all, you have a team-first mindset with forecast honesty—you own your pipeline and embrace a collaborative, winning-together attitude. You are a true self-starter who is phenomenal at what you currently do, taking pride in driving significant impact as a senior individual contributor. To support our near-future vision of opening a physical hub in Germany, we are looking for candidates who are ideally already based in the wider Hamburg region. Bonus points if you also bring experience with 3 to 6 month enterprise buying cycles and committees, or prior exposure to regulated DACH verticals like manufacturing, healthcare, or financial services. A background in cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance software is highly valued, as is a habit of leveraging technology creatively in your daily workflow. **Who you’ll work with** You will be a key part of our EMEA Sales Team, reporting to our EMEA Head of Sales. This DACH-focused role is working in a highly supportive AE group focusing on the EMEA market. We are committed to a collaborative culture but you will also be given independence to run your opportunities. You will find a team that asks for something back on every concession, owns their forecast misses honestly, and truly lives by a team-first standard that shows up in how we actually operate, rather than just as an aspiration on a slide. **What you can expect from us** • **Compensation:** Monthly fixed base salary of € 6000 - € 7000 depending on your experience (plus a 50/50 base and commission model featuring accelerated earnings for the first 12 months). You may notice varying salary ranges for roles with similar titles across Hoxhunt; this is because each range is grounded in our role leveling and reflects the seniority, scope, and impact expectations required for that specific role and team, and we operate with a low hierarchy. • **Working ways:** **You will start by working remotely from the Hamburg region. However, as we are planning to build a hub in Hamburg in the near future, this will eventually transform into a hybrid role.** You will enjoy a flexible work setting with opportunities to travel and connect with the broader team. • **High performance meets high humanity:** We bring an incredibly driven, high-impact energy to our work, but we leave our egos at the door. You will be surrounded by wildly talented, dedicated colleagues in an environment built on extreme kindness, support, and psychological safety. • **Authentic trust & autonomy:** We hire great people and trust them to do great work. You will find a culture free of micromanagement, giving you the autonomy to take real ownership, drive impact, and shape things early on. • **A product you can be proud of:** It is incredibly rare in cybersecurity to build a multi-award-winning product that end-users genuinely love. You will join a fast-paced, technically sophisticated team making a real, measurable impact against cybercrime, backed by strong financial stability and growth. • **The perks that matter:** Alongside this amazing community, you will enjoy extensive healthcare with other benefits tailored for our team in Germany. To ensure your personal data is handled securely and in compliance with GDPR, we only accept applications submitted through our application form. We cannot process applications sent via other channels, such as email or LinkedIn messages. **Our Recruitment Process** 1. Interview with Talent Acquisition (remote, 30 min) 2. Interview with EMEA Head of Sales (remote, 45 min) 3. Take-home assignment and panel (on-site in Helsinki, 90 min) 4. Reference checks and offer ## **About Hoxhunt** Hoxhunt was founded in 2016 by four visionaries.
