We’re building the foundation behind the foundation models — the data collection systems, operational capability, exabyte-scale data warehouse, and software toolchain — to help our partners drive the field forward. Growing this fast means our books, controls, and reporting have to keep pace. We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting to own day-to-day accounting operations and make sure our financial reporting is accurate, timely, and audit-ready — bringing public company rigor and Big 4 discipline to a fast-moving, global technology environment. # **What You’ll Do** This role is the bridge between daily transactions and reliable financial reporting we can close, audit, and raise on. Sample projects include: - managing daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and cash reconciliations - leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met - preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports - ensuring compliance with GAAP, applicable tax requirements, company policies, and internal controls - reviewing financial results, investigating variances, and communicating meaningful insights to leadership - coordinating external audits and providing accurate, timely schedules and supporting documentation - supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and other financial-planning activities - assisting with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and special projects as required - implementing and maintaining robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls - collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and support business growth - leveraging technology solutions to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy # **About You** **Baseline skills:** - CPA and/or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role - strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements - demonstrated experience managing month-end and year-end close processes - proficiency with accounting or ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills - strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities - excellent written and verbal communication skills - high level of accuracy, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail **You might be a good fit if you:** - have Big 4 public accounting experience - have supported external audits, system implementations, or process-automation initiatives - have experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or international accounting - are able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - are very comfortable working in 0→1 environments - are mission-driven and passionate about robotics: work at XDOF is fast-paced and constant.
