Senior accounts payable clerk

Job description

GBN are looking for someone who has senior level experience in a busy accounts office within the UK. Preference will be given to someone who has worked for a freight/logistics company. If they have used software like Multi freight and/or Open Accounts systems then that would be ideal. The position involves: Liaising with clients and foreign agents Reconciling statements in the Multifreight/OpenAccounts system Making payments to suppliers Filing General office duties Accuracy, attention to detail Ability to work in a busy environment Good data entry speed are important in this role. Hours are 08:30-17:30 but you will be required to do some overtime when required.
