**Job Title:** Senior AI Agent Engineer **Key Skills:** Generative AI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Python, Semantic Kernel, MCP, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Agent Evaluation, Guardrails **Experience:** 5+ YOE. **Location:** Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia **Mode:** Remote We at Coforge are hiring Senior AI Agent Engineer (#006fu00000bWsOCAA0-1) with the following skill set. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise AI agents, copilots, and multi-agent systems using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Python-based frameworks, and other approved technologies. - Develop prompts, instructions, tool definitions, routing, and orchestration workflows while implementing grounding, citations, retrieval, context management, guardrails, and human-review patterns. - Integrate AI agents with enterprise tools and APIs, build rapid prototypes, and validate solutions with business users. - Create automated evaluations and continuously optimize agent quality, latency, reliability, observability, and cost while supporting production monitoring and troubleshooting. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years developing Generative AI, AI assistant, or agent-based applications. - Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI (mandatory/deal-breaker skill). - Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio. - Strong Python development skills and experience integrating REST APIs and cloud services. - Experience with Semantic Kernel, MCP, and agent orchestration. - Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). - Experience implementing agent evaluation, guardrails, grounding, citations, and context management. - Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices for production AI applications. - Experience developing and deploying secure, testable enterprise applications. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. **Preferred Skills:** - Advanced experience with Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio. - Experience with Semantic Kernel, MCP, multi-agent systems, or comparable orchestration frameworks. - Experience implementing RAG, automated evaluation pipelines, citations, and tool-use controls. - Azure AI Engineer or related certification. **Posted On:** 12-10-2026 At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
