Job description
This role is responsible for authoring, editing, and coordinating scientific manuscript and related publications based on pre-clinical research involving medical devices. This role transforms complex scientific, engineering, and biological data into scientific manuscripts which may include peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, or technical communications that accurately represent study findings and comply with applicable scientific, ethical, and publication standards. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Author and edit scientific manuscripts describing pre-clinical medical devices studies including in vitro studies, bench testing studies, biocompatibility studies, animal studies, human factors and usability studies, performance and proof-of-concept evaluations - Develop publication deliverables including peer-reviewed journal manuscripts, conference abstracts, and posters and presentations. - Review study study protocols, reports, statistical outpus, and raw data summaries. - Synthesize scientific evidence into clear, logical, and publication-ready narrative. - Collaborate with subject matter expert/s to interpret findings and validate scientific conclusions. - Conduct targeted literature searches to support manuscript development. - Evaluate scientific publications and relevant standards applicable to medical devices. - Prepare background section, literature reviews, and discussion content. - Coordinate manuscript development with cross-functional teams. - Ensure compliance with GDP, journal-specific author guidelines, ethical publication standards, and company quality procedures. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Advanced degree (e,g., MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in biomedical sciences, life sciences, biomedical engineering, or health sciences. - At least 2 years of medical writing, scientific writing, or publication experience. - Experience in publishing studies in peer or non-peer reviewed journals required. - Medical device experience preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office suites (e,g,, Word, Excel, PPT) - Strong understanding of pre-clinical research methods. - Proficient in oral and written English language. - Good analytical and comprehension skills.
