We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Automation Engineer to work at our North site (Kinneret area), the position includes contributing to the testing of wireless telecom and cloud-based cellular solutions of parallel wireless working both internally and with test engineers across parallel wireless sites. This offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to the ORAN wireless technology. ### What you'll do: - Contribute to automation infrastructure design and ongoing development. - Contribute to overall system design and architecture. - Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring immediate feedback on code quality and stability. - Perform hands-on work in a lab environment across different test setups. - Work closely with R&D teams to understand system architecture, design, and functionality. - Collaborate with remote teams across international offices. - Work in an Agile/Scrum environment. ### What you should have: - 5+ years of relevant professional experience. - Proven experience using AI tools for automation development and planning. - Solid understanding of Python. - Experience working with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Pytest, or similar. - Ability to write simple scripts using Python, Shell, or similar languages. - Strong verbal and written English skills. - Self-motivated learner with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies. - Hands-on experience with Linux. - Basic knowledge of networking. - Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ### Nice to have: - Knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy. - Prior experience working in a lab environment. - Telecommunications experience. ### Education: - Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Science Engineering
