Senior Avionics Electrical Engineer

Job description

As a **Senior Avionics Electrical Engineer**, you will design, test, build, and deliver the electrical systems that power, control, and operate our spacecraft. Your work will span flight-critical hardware including electromechanical actuators, power conversion and distribution, batteries, solar power systems, motor controls, sensors, and embedded control electronics. You will own hardware from architecture sketches and first-principles design through bring-up, qualification, vehicle integration, and flight, with broad technical scope and extreme ownership. You will work with experts across propulsion, GNC, mechanisms, software, structures, thermal, and systems engineering to solve multidisciplinary spacecraft problems and make trades that directly affect performance, reliability, mass, power, and mission capability. This is an opportunity to work with some of the best engineers in the industry on difficult, consequential problems - and take spacecraft systems from a whiteboard to hardware operating in space.
