Senior Civil Engineer

Job description

The Senior Civil Engineer is the lead specialist for the civil engineering discipline for Green Gen Cymru's (GGC) network development programme, working alongside other senior engineering disciplines to provide technical input and assurance principally across substation, overhead line and underground cable aspects of its projects. The role is responsible for overseeing relevant aspects of FEED design, pre-construction investigations and detailed civil design activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and GGC requirements. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Senior Civil Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, customers and network operators to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions. The role also requires strong coordination across engineering disciplines and wider business functions to support the successful development and delivery of GGC's network portfolio.
