If this sounds exciting to you, let’s chat! ### SENIOR CLOUD APPLICATION ENGINEER What experience should you have: - 8+ years of professional web application development experience. - Expert-level command of Go and Typescript with full-stack development experience. - Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud platform, including VPC, Load Balancing, and web application architecture. - Strong background in web application architecture design, and best practices. - Extensive experience operating cloud run applications in production environments with high availability and scalability. - Proficiency with git workflows and understanding of agile application development processes (SDLC). **Preferred Qualifications** - Professional Cloud Developer certification. - Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role, managing diverse stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures. - Direct experience supporting data science teams or building AI-driven applications. What you’ll be doing in this role: - Lead the architecture and implementation of complex web applications using Go, TypeScript (Svelte), and Python (FastAPI). - Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance. - Architect and manage the deployment of web applications on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Vertex AI, and various Google Cloud APIs. - Develop maintainable and user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., Svelte, HTMX) - Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models into production-ready web interfaces and APIs. What you'll need to accomplish in your first year: - Actively mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the team. - Establish best practices for development.
