We’re not just about serving people - we’re about creating a marketplace to bring people what they need while infusing social values. **What we're looking for** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CloudOps Engineer to join our Mobility team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and operations, with a passion for helping engineering squads ship reliable, scalable systems. You will work daily across different squads, providing hands-on infrastructure support, proposing architecture and tooling improvements, and helping define the best approach to build and maintain our infrastructure on GCP. **Responsibilities** - Work daily with different engineering squads to support, troubleshoot, and evolve their infrastructure needs. - Design, propose, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on GCP. - Advise squads on infrastructure architecture and best practices, helping them choose the right setup for their projects. - Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. - Automate provisioning, deployment, and scaling processes to minimize downtime and manual effort. - Continuously improve infrastructure, tooling, and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. - Contribute to infrastructure standards and documentation shared across teams. **Qualifications** - Strong experience with Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and TypeScript. - Proven experience operating and building infrastructure on GCP (AWS or Azure experience is a plus). - Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with configuration management / IaC tools such as Terraform, CDK for Terraform, or Pulumi. - Strong understanding of networking, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability practices. - Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple engineering squads and communicating infrastructure trade-offs clearly. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive, advisory mindset. **Why You Should Join Yassir :** - Join one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North Africa - Have a lasting impact on our company's culture - Make a real impact on the world by helping us bring affordable financial and on-demand services to millions of Africans - Work on some really hard technical challenges from identity infrastructure for Africans, digital payment networks to complex mapping and routing systems across the continent. - We are the first Algerian startup to go through Y Combinator program and we’re backed by top investors including Unpopular Ventures, Rebel Fund and [](http://daintree.vc/)
