The opportunity : your next adventure awaits EY’s Business Consulting team is seeking experienced professionals to support transformation initiatives in the Insurance sector, with a specific focus on reinsurance. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Financial Services Practice, you will work on strategic projects with leading reinsurance firms, helping them navigate operational, regulatory, and technological change. This role is ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance. Your Key Responsibilities Deliver transformation projects across insurance and reinsurance, focusing on operating model design, process improvement, and digital enablement. Translate business requirements into system solutions in collaboration with tech and build teams. Apply EY frameworks to ensure delivery quality, compliance, and innovation. Present recommendations to senior stakeholders. Contribute to internal initiatives and business development. Skills And Attributes For Success Initial experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry (ideally 2-5 years). Understanding of insurance or reinsurance business models, core processes, and regulatory landscape. Experience in requirements engineering, including stakeholder alignment, documentation, and validation. Exposure to agile delivery environments. Strong analytical and communication skills. Motivation to learn and take responsibilities. Strong academic background from a recognized university or university of applied sciences. Fluency in English; German strongly preferred.
