Job Description As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that underpin analytics, AI, and operational systems across Nearmap. You'll ensure timely, accurate, and secure delivery of data from multiple sources into the warehouse, enabling downstream teams to create trusted, actionable insights. The role partners closely with Analytics Engineers, Application Engineering, and other stakeholders to provide a robust, cost-efficient, and well-governed data platform that supports the company's strategic growth. Qualifications Core: Snowflake – data warehouse management SQL & Python – data pipeline development Terraform – Infrastructure as Code AWS Services (Glue, Firehose, S3, API Gateway, ECS, ASG, Kinesis, Snowpipe) CI/CD pipelines Data pipeline tools (dbt, Airbyte, Fivetran, Hightouch, Airflow, Dagster) Nice to have: dbt – modern data transformation Data lake file formats (Parquet, Avro, Iceberg) and partitioning strategies Kubernetes & Docker – container orchestration Other cloud providers Platform observability and monitoring tools Additional Information What we offer: Medical care Sport Card (MultiSport) MultiLife (mental and physical wellbeing) Attractive employee referral program Nearmap subscription (naturally)
