We also offer monthly TechConnect and DeepDive collaboration sessions with our entire technical staff. **Your Mission:** As a DevOps-focused Software Engineer, your mission is to build and sustain the automation, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines that power secure, scalable systems in a high-impact mission environment. You'll be responsible for container orchestration, full CI/CD lifecycle support, and infrastructure management in AWS—ensuring that development teams can deliver quickly, reliably, and securely. ### You will excel in this role if: - You are passionate about infrastructure automation and continuous delivery - You thrive in containerized, cloud-based environments - You proactively troubleshoot and improve systems to support seamless delivery - You enjoy collaborating across engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance stability ### A day in the Life: - Design, deploy, and manage Docker-based container environments - Oversee AWS HCI configuration, deployment, and resource management - Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines supporting the full software development lifecycle - Apply infrastructure-as-code principles using Ansible, YAML, and Terraform - Support integration and automation efforts across DevOps and development teams ### Must Have: - 7+ years of relevant software or DevOps experience - Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance - Experience with Docker and containerization - Experience managing AWS HCI environments - Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices - Proficiency in YAML - Proficiency in JSON - Experience using EC2 instances - Experience with Ansible - Experience with Java - Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript ### Nice to Have: - Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation - Knowledge of networking and load balancing fundamentals - Familiarity with TLS, SSL, and certificate management - Exposure to ELK stack for system monitoring and log analysis - Interest or experience in transitioning from Docker to Kubernetes clusters
