Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Director to lead Marketing Partnerships and Brand Solutions & Integrations for our Streaming Specials portfolio on JioHotstar. Think of the role as the architect of how the platform's IP travels into the wider world — engineering the bridges that carry our shows out of platform media and into culture, commerce, and high-engagement consumer ecosystems, while also building the commercial structures that bring brands into the content itself. This is a dual-mandate leadership role. On one side, it owns the partnerships charter — securing and scaling high-impact brand, platform, and institutional collaborations that extend reach and unlock earned and partner media. On the other, it oversees the brand solutions and integrations engine, ensuring sponsor and advertiser objectives are translated cleanly into content without compromising show integrity. Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Partnerships & Charter Ownership Define and own the Partnerships charter for the Streaming Specials portfolio — setting a clear framework for which strategies are most impactful to pursue, rather than operating reactively to incoming requirements. Secure and scale high-impact brand collaborations that extend show reach beyond platform media into consumer ecosystems (e.g., fintech, tech, lifestyle, and consumer platforms). Build multi-brand and institutional partnerships that align contextually with show themes to unlock earned and partner media at scale. Negotiate co-branded campaigns, IP-led films, and media inventory sharing that deliver both direct revenue and amplified media value. Identify scalable opportunities that balance creativity with commercial impact, strengthening the platform's positioning as a premium, culturally relevant entertainment destination. Brand Solutions & Integrations Oversight Oversee the end-to-end brand integration lifecycle — from pitch to closure to on-air execution — across marquee fiction and non-fiction IP, leading a team of two integration specialists. Ensure brand objectives are met while protecting show integrity, acting as the senior bridge between sales/commercial needs and content/creative requirements. Drive new sponsor wins and expand existing sponsors across multiple network IPs, building scalable, repeatable integration formats. Set standards for dependable, on-time delivery and stable integration processes, coordinating across production houses, content/creative teams, and sales teams. Coach and develop the integrations team to grow from executional support toward broader commercial and functional contribution. IP Monetization & Commercial Innovation Develop monetization frameworks across content IPs through partnerships, licensing opportunities, branded experiences, and new commercial formats. Identify and unlock incremental revenue opportunities across marquee franchises and original content properties. Events, Activations & Experiential Marketing Lead large-scale experiential events, premium fan experiences, and immersive activations that generate buzz, influencer engagement, and social amplification. Drive trailer launches, consumer events, and on-ground fan engagement that convert into measurable reach and attendance. Develop strategic creator and influencer collaborations that amplify content launches and drive cultural conversation. Media Innovation & OOH Direct year-round OOH campaigns and award-worthy innovations across marquee global and local titles, ensuring strong physical presence across markets. Champion differentiated formats — gaming, metaverse, meme ecosystems, and contextual storytelling — to reach younger and non-traditional audiences. Team Leadership Lead, develop, and set direction for a team of three across marketing partnerships and brand integrations. Provide the strategic framework and long-term objectives that allow the team to operate proactively rather than purely in response to requirements. Mentor team members to widen their exposure across sales, strategy, content, marketing, and promos, and progress toward broader functional leadership. Preferred Skills and Background 15-17 years across marketing partnerships, brand solutions, branded content, or media sales, preferably within streaming, media, or entertainment. Proven track record of securing and scaling high-value brand, platform, and institutional partnerships with measurable reach and media value. Strong commercial acumen across both partnerships (earned/partner media) and brand integrations (sponsorship revenue). Ability to think from both a sales and content lens, translating brand needs into integrations without compromising creative integrity. Comfort operating in ambiguity with a high bar on ownership, while still building long-term strategic frameworks. Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across production, content/creative, sales, and marketing teams. People-leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (required). MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
