Senior Director of Product Marketing

Job description

## **Who We Are** Pindrop is a cybersecurity company delivering continuous identity verification across voice, video, and digital interactions. Powered by the Pindrop Intelligence Network, our unified trust platform helps enterprises answer three critical questions: **Is this identity synthetic?** Detect AI-generated and manipulated voice and video. **Is this identity risky?** Identify fraud, suspicious behavior, and other risk signals. **Is this identity known?** Authenticate identities using voice, device, behavioral, and other signals. Pindrop brings this intelligence together across purpose-built trust engines to help organizations make informed decisions in real time — protecting customers, workforce interactions, and emerging AI-driven interactions. Pindrop protects billions of high-risk interactions for enterprises, including leading financial institutions, insurers, and healthcare organizations. Its technology is informed by more than 8 billion real-world interactions annually and protected by 300+ patents. Recognized by TIME as one of the 10 Most Influential Software Companies of 2026 and by Inc. for Best in Business for Innovation, Pindrop is backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and CapitalG. ## **What you'll do** As the Senior Director of Product Marketing at Pindrop, you’ll play a crucial role at the nexus of Marketing, Product, and Sales, with substantial impact potential on company growth. Your core results will include: - Leading product positioning, launch processes, and customer insight programs for AI-driven security and authentication solutions. - Defining and executing go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing. - Translating complex technology (including AI models, machine learning, and deepfake detection) into compelling messaging and proof points that resonate with technical and business audiences. - Developing impactful content and sales enablement materials tailored for technical buyers, business leaders, and diverse customer segments. - Documenting customer buying journeys, personas, and our competitive landscape. - Acting as the primary thought leader for AI-centric products externally, through industry presentations, analyst briefings, and written media. - Driving competitive and market intelligence; understanding buyer personas, customer journeys, and security market trends. - Managing product marketing plans, budgets, and program KPIs to inform strategic decisions and future investment. - Supporting and training sales channels on highly complex, AI-enabled product solutions and value delivery. - Owning launches of innovative new products and features, particularly those leveraging AI for authentication, fraud detection, and voice biometrics. - Leading development of customer success stories and case studies that showcase AI impact. - Mentoring and growing a team of product marketing professionals passionate about driving security innovation. - Managing all internal and public-facing documentation, such as claims and customer references. ## **Who you are** - **Executive-ready and credible.** You bring the confidence, maturity, and experience to engage senior executives. You articulate a clear point of view, make thoughtful recommendations, and defend your perspective while staying open to challenge. You take direct feedback with humility and turn it into meaningful action and stronger outcomes. - **Confident in your influence.** You hold your own in a room of strong opinions and experienced leaders. You challenge thinking constructively, navigate difficult conversations, and influence decisions through preparation, sound judgment, and a well-informed perspective. You don’t need to be the loudest voice in the room, but you know how to make your voice count. - **A leader who develops others and yourself.** You lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. You set clear expectations, give actionable feedback, and build a culture of accountability and growth. You’re equally committed to your own development: you seek feedback, challenge yourself, and keep raising the bar on your leadership and impact. - **An exceptional cross-functional partner.** Product Marketing sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Go-to-Market, making this one of the most cross-functional roles at Pindrop. You understand each function’s priorities, translate between technical, commercial, and marketing perspectives, and bring teams together to drive alignment and results. - **A strategic thinker with hands-on execution.** You see the big picture, anticipate what’s next, and build strategies that move the business forward, then you own them through completion. You’re as comfortable presenting to the executive team as you are getting into the details, and you know when to operate at 30,000 feet and when to roll up your sleeves. The rapidly evolving AI and security landscape motivates you. ## **Your skill-set** ### **Must-haves** - 7+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a market-facing role. Experience translating technical concepts (especially AI or machine learning) for varied audiences is required. - Direct experience marketing security, authentication, AI/ML, or cloud contact center solutions, including go-to-market strategy and product launches. - Deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, with exposure to AI trends, data protection, Zero Trust approaches, and domain expertise in areas such as SIEM, EDR, or voice biometrics. - Advanced proficiency with collaboration, CRM, and automation tools (Slack, Salesforce, Marketo, DemandBase, Google Analytics). - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable presenting technical ideas and outcomes to external audiences. ### **Nice-to-haves** - 10+ years overall experience in product marketing, cybersecurity, or high-tech SaaS environments. - Hands-on experience developing and executing marketing strategies for AI-powered products. - Experience leading a product marketing team, with demonstrated mentorship and talent development. - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or technical master’s) preferred. - Familiarity with cloud security, data privacy regulations, and emerging security technologies. ## **What's in it for you** AI-driven fraud and deepfakes have made trust in every interaction a board-level priority. As Pindrop’s senior product marketing leader, you’ll shape how the market understands that problem and why Pindrop is the answer. - **Define the story for a category in motion.** Identity trust and deepfake detection are still being defined. You’ll set the positioning, narrative, and proof points that shape how buyers, analysts, and the industry see Pindrop. - **Work directly with the Executive Leadership Team.** You’ll bring recommendations to senior leaders, influence product and go-to-market strategy, and see firsthand how decisions get made as Pindrop scales. - **Sit at the center of the business.** Your work connects the roadmap to revenue, giving you a direct line to outcomes across Product, Marketing, and Sales. - **Launch differentiated technology.** You’ll bring to market solutions backed by more than 300 patents and models trained on over 1.5 billion real-world interactions a year. - **Build and lead a high-performing team.** You’ll mentor and grow product marketers and shape how the function operates as the company grows. - **Operate inside an AI-first organization.** With Innovation as our first core value, you won’t just market AI, you’ll use it to sharpen research, messaging, launches, and enablement. - **Grow as Pindrop grows.** This is a career-defining opportunity to expand your scope and influence as we take Pindrop to its next level. If you want to lead the story of a company protecting trust in the AI era, and be proud of the company you help shape, this is that opportunity. ## What to expect in the interview process This role requires the ability to communicate, influence, and present effectively at the executive level. As part of our interview process, you’ll prepare and deliver a presentation to members of Pindrop’s Executive Leadership Team. It’s an opportunity to show your strategic thinking, product marketing expertise, ability to communicate a clear point of view, and approach to executive-level discussion and feedback. ## What we offer As a part of Pindrop, you’ll have a direct impact on our growing list of products and the future of security in the voice-driven economy.
