Senior Draftsman

Job description

Qualifications: Diploma in civil engineering, drafting, or CAD / BIM technology Minimum 8 years of drafting experience Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD Familiarity with BIM workflows and GIS tools Preferred experience: Experience working on hydropower / dam projects Exposure to design consultancy environments Knowledge of geotechnical and hydraulic design interfaces Key responsibilities: Prepare detailed engineering drawings. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards. Create and manage 3D surface models. Build alignments (horizontal & vertical) and profiles. Import and process survey data. Perform surface analysis. Prepare earthwork reports and volume calculations. Optimize grading for cost and efficiency. Maintain consistent sheet layouts, title blocks, and scales. Resolve design conflicts through model coordination. Support value engineering initiatives.
