Define grounding strategies, protection schemes, and isolation methods for high-power electrical systems. Develop monitoring, alarm, and shutdown logic to ensure safe and reliable battery operation. Coordinate electrical design with mechanical layouts and enclosure constraints. Support commissioning, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and troubleshooting of energy storage systems. Produce production-ready electrical documentation supporting manufacturing and system integration. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 8+ years of experience designing industrial electrical systems or power infrastructure. Experience with power distribution systems, protection systems, and electrical schematics. Experience integrating equipment such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, or energy storage systems. Strong experience developing technical documentation for engineering and manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or microgrid power systems. Familiarity with UL 9540, UL 1741, or similar energy storage safety standards. Experience integrating SCADA, EMS, or energy monitoring systems. Previous experience supporting renewable energy, data center power infrastructure, or large industrial power systems. Additional Requirements Previous experience working with U.S.-based engineering teams is valued. Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
