## Description
We are recruiting experienced **Finance Professionals** for a range of client opportunities across **Germany**. This consolidated role is designed to attract strong finance talent across multiple disciplines, including **Financial Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Financial Control**.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to step into **senior-level responsibility** and progress toward **finance leadership or head-of-finance roles**, particularly within international or fast-growing organizations.
### Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary depending on role focus and business structure and may include:
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Oversight of general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close
- Supporting management with commercial and strategic financial insights
- Ensuring compliance with **IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)**
- Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy
- Mentoring or managing junior finance and accounting staff
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- **CPA, ACCA, CIMA, Steuerberater, or equivalent** qualification preferred (role-dependent)
- 5–10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of **IFRS and/or HGB**
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, Workday, etc.)
- Strong communication skills; ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Leadership capability and readiness for increased responsibility
