The Role & What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a developer who loves building modern web applications to join the Cucumber team and help deliver projects across our expanded business. You don’t need to match every single technology listed below, we value adaptability, strong core engineering principles, and a willingness to learn as much as specific tool expertise. Core Technical Stack Angular (v18+ preferred) with TypeScript, modern JS (ES6+) HTML5/CSS3, responsive design, SCSS/SASS CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, or Angular Material) RxJS/reactive programming, Angular Signals State management (NgRx, NGXS, or similar) RESTful API integration, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger Git (Bitbucket/GitHub/Azure DevOps), npm Unit testing (Jasmine, Karma, or Jest) and E2E testing (Playwright or Cypress) Development Practices Component-driven architecture Mobile-first, responsive design Accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility Performance optimisation, lazy loading Secure frontend dev (OWASP Top 10 awareness) Code reviews, Agile/Scrum DevOps & CI/CD CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket) Basic Docker understanding Environment config and deployment pipelines UI/UX Angular Material or similar component libraries Comfortable working from Figma/Adobe XD designs Strong collaboration with UX/UI designers Nice to Haves Nx Monorepos Module Federation / Micro Frontends PWA development SSR (Angular Universal) GraphQL Cloud hosting (Azure Static Web Apps or AWS) Auth experience (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Entra ID/Auth0) Real-time tech (SignalR/WebSockets) Life at Cucumber & RUSH We bring the energy and agility of a high-growth environment, supported by the strength and broader opportunities of our combined entity with RUSH.
