# Senior Fullstack Engineer > Aerones · Riga, Latvia · Full-time · Posted 2026-03-20 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Platform development ## Description **AERONES**, a global leader in robotic wind turbine maintenance, is seeking a **Senior Full-Stack Developer** to lead our engineering team and own our platform architecture. You'll lead a team of backend (Django/Python) and frontend (React/TypeScript) developers while remaining hands-on with code. You'll drive our migration from legacy systems to a unified platform and pioneer **AI-native development practices** using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. If you're passionate about leading high-performing teams through platform transformation in a fast-growing robotics company, we encourage you to apply. ### **What You'll Do:** - Own technical architecture and drive platform decisions (Django, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL) - Lead the team while staying hands-on — building features, reviewing code, fixing critical issues - Establish AI-augmented development workflows and train the team on AI coding agents - Manage releases, deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker-based workflows - Coordinate with product, operations, finance, and DevOps teams - Set code quality standards, testing requirements, and development processes ## Requirements **Must have:** - 5+ years full-stack development (Python/Django + React/TypeScript required) - 2+ years technical leadership or engineering management - Experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) - Strong PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure knowledge (GCP preferred) - Fluent English, excellent communication skills **Nice to have:** - PHP/Yii2 or legacy system migration experience - NetSuite or ERP integrations - Platform consolidation projects ## Benefits We believe great work starts with feeling valued and supported.
