Senior HVAC Installer/Technician

Job description

Install air conditioners and VRF system components, including indoor and outdoor units, piping, and ductless systems. Connect refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and control systems according to manufacturer specifications. Install thermostats, sensors, and control panels, ensuring proper operation. Handle copper piping, insulation, and sealing to achieve leak-free connections. Follow layout plans and site measurements to accurately position equipment. Perform system start-up, testing, and commissioning, checking pressures, airflow, and overall functionality. Test and adjust system settings for optimal performance. Troubleshoot minor installation issues on-site and implement practical solutions. Assist in unloading, transporting, staging, and preparing equipment and materials safely. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized HVAC equipment safely and efficiently. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce all safety standards on-site. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas throughout installations. Provide guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to apprentices and junior installers. Lead and coordinate installation activities to ensure efficiency and high-quality workmanship. Communicate project progress, issues, or delays to supervisors and project managers. Assist in planning, organizing, and preparing materials and equipment for installations as required. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards. Demonstrate a reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic at all times.
