Your work will directly support employee productivity, data protection, and operational resilience across a diverse international team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a privacy-focused environment that values sustainability, open-source collaboration, and employee well-being. ### Accountabilities - **Manage End-User IT Support:** Set up, configure, and maintain employee computers while troubleshooting daily IT issues across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments. Compensation for the Netherlands can be discussed during the initial interview. - **Fully remote employment:** Work from your preferred location in the Netherlands, with no fixed daily schedule, provided you maintain at least three hours of overlap with colleagues during the working day. - **Full-time position:** A 40-hour working week with flexibility to organize your schedule. - **Generous paid leave:** Five weeks, or 25 days, of paid annual leave. - **Paid sick leave:** Fourteen days of paid sick leave where local laws would otherwise treat this leave as unpaid. - **Parental leave:** Six weeks of paid and six weeks of unpaid parental leave during the first year after a child's birth, with additional support where local provisions do not provide the specified paid compensation. - **Hardware budget:** A dedicated budget for work equipment, which you may keep for personal use after three years. - **Annual smart home budget:** Funding to explore and keep up with the latest smart home technologies. - **Learning and development:** An annual education budget to support professional growth, technical learning, and continued skills development. - **Performance bonus:** An annual bonus linked to overall company performance. - **Internet allowance:** A 50% contribution toward your home internet connection costs. - **Personal project time:** One working day every two weeks dedicated to your own projects. - **Open-source contribution time:** If you already maintain projects related to Home Assistant, you may be able to dedicate working hours to maintaining them. - **Employee-focused culture:** Join an international, remote-first team that values privacy, choice, sustainability, autonomy, and employee well-being.
