This role is for a prestigious client in the financial sector, requiring a highly operational and self-sufficient professional to support, troubleshoot, and upgrade advanced security systems. If you are a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in deploying and managing Malware Protection solutions, and you thrive in dynamic environments, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary expert for Trellix technologies, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing upgrades. Deploy, configure, and maintain advanced Malware Protection solutions, including Trellix, McAfee, Tanium , and BeyondTrust . Provide hands-on operational support and expert-level troubleshooting for security tools. Govern and support Data Security/Protection projects or programs. Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and tools for security solutions. Collaborate with teams to present complex technical solutions in an understandable way. Lead efforts to enhance and optimize security measures and tools. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of 10+ years of professional IT experience , with 5+ years in security or Malware Protection technologies . Proven expertise with Trellix or similar tools (McAfee, Tanium, BeyondTrust). Strong knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python . Deep understanding of security concepts, IT systems, and infrastructure. Experience in leading projects or teams (team leadership experience is a plus). Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to deliver results without extensive onboarding. Preferred Skills 15+ years of IT experience is highly desirable, even if not all in cybersecurity. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or product-specific certifications) are a strong plus. Experience in regulated industries such as finance. Additional Information
