ELEKS [Software Engineering & Development Office](https://careers.eleks.com/about/software-engineering-development-office/) is looking for a Senior Java/AI Developer based in Buenos Aires for a hybrid position: 2–3 days per week onsite at our local office, with the remaining days remote. Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00/7:00 PM ART **ABOUT PROJECT** The client is among the top-5 health insurance companies in the US. They are dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. ### REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of professional experience in Java and/or Python - Hands-on experience working with LLMs (integration, evaluation, or architecture) - Practical experience with prompt engineering - Understanding of API design and backend service development ### Nice to Have - Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures - Experience with vector databases and embeddings - Cloud AI services experience (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.) - MLOps or LLMOps exposure ### RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and build AI-powered features and services using LLMs - Develop and maintain backend components in Java and/or Python - Implement prompt engineering strategies and evaluate model outputs - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications - Stay current with emerging LLM tooling, frameworks, and best practices - Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery practices
