This role sits at the intersection of Global Programming, Content Operations, Localization/Dubbing Operations, Product, Curation, and regional GTM teams to ensure fans receive the right content, in the right language, at the right time, and at the quality bar expected from Crunchyroll. You will oversee operational readiness for subtitled and dubbed releases across LATAM, including schedule accuracy, language availability, metadata and asset readiness, quality-control escalation, and launch monitoring. Success in this role requires strong operational judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate complex dependencies across regional and global teams. This is not a dubbing-production role: Localization/Dubbing Operations owns studio/vendor production and delivery of localized assets; Content Operations & QC owns the regional operational readiness, validation, publishing coordination, and issue resolution required to bring those assets successfully to fans. ## **What You’ll Do** ### Regional Release Readiness: - Own the LATAM content-readiness view across simulcasts, dub drops, catalog launches, and priority title moments, ensuring dependencies, owners, dates, and risks are visible and actively managed. - Sub & Dub Operations: Coordinate with Global Programming, Content Operations, and Localization/Dubbing Operations to validate language availability, publishing schedules, holdbacks, delivery status, and market-specific requirements for Spanish LATAM and Portuguese Brazil. - Quality Control: Establish and maintain a rigorous regional QC process covering subtitle/dub availability, language mapping, metadata, artwork, episode sequencing, playback readiness, and other fan-facing content issues. - Launch Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor priority launches, rapidly triage content issues, coordinate escalation paths, and drive issues through resolution with global and regional partners. - Schedule & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate operational data across systems such as Airtable, content schedules, trackers, and downstream planning tools so regional teams have a reliable source of truth. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Curation, Lifecycle, Brand, Partnerships, Customer Experience, Product, and GTM teams so marketing plans reflect actual content readiness and changes are communicated early. - Process & SLA Management: Define clear handoffs, service levels, and operating rhythms between LATAM and global teams; identify recurring failure points and implement scalable improvements. - Reporting & Insights: Build concise reporting on release readiness, localization status, launch issues, recurring defects, and operational performance to support regional prioritization and escalation. - Continuous Improvement: Use launch retrospectives and root-cause analysis to improve workflows, reduce recurring defects, and strengthen the fan experience across LATAM. ## **About You** We get excited about candidates who bring: - 7+ years of experience in content operations, media supply chain, streaming operations, localization operations, broadcast operations, or digital media QC. - Strong understanding of episodic release workflows, subtitles, dubbing, metadata, asset delivery, publishing schedules, and content-quality processes. - Experience operating across multiple markets and languages, ideally including Spanish LATAM and Portuguese Brazil. - Strong program-management skills with the ability to manage high-volume release calendars, dependencies, and fast-moving escalations. - Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindset, paired with the judgment to distinguish critical fan-impacting issues from lower-priority defects. - Experience with operational tools such as Airtable, Jira, CMS/content scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and workflow platforms. - Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work across regional and global teams in a matrixed environment. - Comfort using data to identify recurring issues, measure operational performance, and improve processes. - Passion for anime, streaming, entertainment, or fan-first products is highly valued. ## **About the Team** LATAM GTM & Growth turns regional market opportunities into coordinated plans that grow acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue. Content Operations & QC ensures those plans are grounded in accurate content readiness and that LATAM fans receive a reliable, high-quality viewing experience across subtitled and dubbed releases. ## Why you will love working at Crunchyroll In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks: - Receive a great compensation package including salary plus performance bonus earning potential, paid annually. - Flexible time off policies allowing you to take the time you need to be your whole self. - Generous medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and life insurance - Health Saving Account HSA program - Health care and dependent care FSA - 401(k) plan, with employer match - Employer paid commuter benefit - Support program for new parents - Pet insurance and some of our offices are pet friendly! #LifeAtCrunchyroll ((select from the following job modalities for this role: #LI-Hybrid #LI-remote #LI-onsite)) ### About our Values We want to be everything for someone rather than something for everyone and we do this by living and modeling our values in all that we do.
