Your journey with us As a Senior Manager or Director in Total Rewards , you will take a leading role in advising clients on strategic reward transformation, with a strong focus on total rewards strategy, job architecture, job evaluation, grading frameworks, compensation design, benefits strategy, pay equity and pay transparency. You will work with senior HR, Reward and business leaders to help organisations design reward structures that are competitive, fair, sustainable, transparent and aligned with their business strategy. You will lead complex client engagements, shape market offerings, drive business development and act as a trusted advisor on reward-related transformation. You will also play a key role in growing Deloitte’s Total Rewards practice by developing client relationships, mentoring colleagues and bringing innovative solutions to the market, including Deloitte’s work on Pay Transparency and Pay Equity. Your responsibilities • Lead strategic client engagements in Total Rewards, job architecture, job evaluation, grading and compensation framework design. • Advise clients on the design and implementation of reward strategies that support business priorities, talent objectives, market competitiveness, fairness and transparency. • Design and review job architecture frameworks, career structures, job families, levels and role profiles. • Lead job evaluation and grading projects, ensuring consistency, transparency and governance across organisations. • Develop and implement compensation structures, salary ranges, benchmarking approaches and pay governance models. • Lead and support pay equity and pay transparency projects, helping clients assess pay gaps, prepare for evolving regulatory requirements and strengthen the governance of pay decisions. • Translate pay equity analytics into clear executive-level insights, practical remediation actions and communication approaches for employees and stakeholders. • Support clients in aligning reward programmes with broader HR transformation, workforce strategy, ESG, diversity & inclusion and organisational design initiatives. • Facilitate senior-level workshops, stakeholder interviews and decision-making sessions with HR and business leadership. • Use market data, analytics and insights to assess reward competitiveness, internal equity and transparency, and develop executive-level recommendations. • Identify new market opportunities, contribute to go-to-market initiatives and lead business development activities. • Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a senior advisor on complex reward matters. • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Let’s Talk About You! You have 8+ years experience in Total Rewards, compensation & benefits, job architecture, job evaluation, pay equity, pay transparency or reward consulting. You have strong expertise in job evaluation methodologies, grading structures, job architecture, compensation design and pay governance. You have experience leading complex reward transformation projects in a consulting, professional services or corporate environment. You understand how pay equity and transparency are becoming strategic priorities for organisations, both from a regulatory and broader workforce perspective. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and translating complex reward topics into clear, pragmatic recommendations. You have a proven track record in client engagement, business development, project leadership and team development. You combine strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You are fluent in English and at least one of Belgium’s national languages, Dutch or French; proficiency in the other language is a strong asset. You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field. You are proficient in compensation analysis, market benchmarking, Excel, PowerPoint and data-driven reward insights.
