Every day, millions of Australians connect, work, stream, and stay in touch on the Optus network. When it works seamlessly, it’s easy to take for granted. But behind it is a team making thousands of decisions every day - decisions that keep people, businesses and communities connected. Right now, Optus is focused on getting the fundamentals right - simplifying how we work, lifting standards, and building a more reliable, resilient experience for our customers. It’s not about surface-level change. It’s about how we make decisions, how we work together, and how we deliver. As the Senior Manager IT, Integrated Audit, you will play a critical role in embedding technology, cyber security, artificial intelligence, systems and data risk considerations across the Internal Audit portfolio. Working closely with audit leaders and engagement teams, you will ensure technology-related risks and controls are consistently integrated into audit planning, fieldwork, reporting and issue follow-up. This role provides specialist IT audit leadership, drives continuous improvement in integrated assurance practices, and delivers strategic insights that support resilient, secure and well-governed business outcomes across the organisation. The Day to Day Lead the integration of technology, cyber security, artificial intelligence, systems and data risk considerations across the Internal Audit portfolio, ensuring appropriate coverage within audit planning, testing and reporting activities. Provide expert oversight of technology assurance, including cyber security, cloud, data governance, application controls, identity and access management, resilience, third-party risk and digital transformation initiatives. Build capability across the Internal Audit function by coaching audit teams, developing integrated audit methodologies, and promoting consistent approaches to technology-enabled risk assessment and assurance.
