Senior Marketing Analytics Manager

Job description

**Get to Know Us** Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find and fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs. We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools, false positives resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results. **What You’ll Do** We're looking for a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to own marketing performance measurement at Horizon3. You will build the reporting, attribution, and planning models that show which programs create pipeline and which do not, and you will turn that into recommendations leadership can act on. This role sits within Marketing Operations and works across demand generation, field, digital, campaigns, ABM, SDR, RevOps, and Finance. It is hands-on. You will build the reports and dashboards, run the analysis, and present the findings yourself. **Measurement & Attribution** - Own marketing's attribution approach to reporting on program performance: Funnel, pipeline, and revenue impact. - Align on core funnel metric definitions with the Sr. Manager, Strategy, Programs & Analytics so Marketing, Sales, and Finance report the same numbers. - Build cost-per-opportunity (CPO), cost-per-lead (CPL), and ROI reporting by channel, program, and segment that budget owners use to make investment decisions. **Reporting & Dashboards** - Build and maintain the dashboards behind weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews: funnel, pipeline, campaign ROI, ABM account engagement, and field program performance. - Produce executive-ready and board-ready performance narratives with marketing leadership. - Build self-serve reporting so teams can answer their own routine questions. - Be an expert-level user of RevSure and Tableau in order to provide clear reports and impactful visuals leadership can easily utilize. **Analysis & Insights** - Analyze funnel conversion, velocity, and cohort performance to find where pipeline is won and lost, and recommend what to change. - Build planning models that connect spend to expected pipeline, and support target setting and pipeline forecasting. - Design tests with campaign owners and read the results honestly, including when a program did not work. - Run deep-dive analyses on the questions leadership needs answered. **Data Quality & Foundations** - Partner with the Senior Marketing Operations Manager on data capture, campaign tracking conventions, and UTM standards so reporting rests on clean inputs. - Audit marketing data regularly, flag anomalies, and drive fixes to the source. - Use AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Serve as the analytics partner to demand generation, field marketing, campaigns, SDR leadership, RevOps, and Finance. - Mentor Marketing Operations Analysts. This role has no direct reports. **What You’ll Bring** - 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, revenue analytics, or marketing operations in B2B SaaS or technology. - Advanced Salesforce reporting skills: cross-object reports, dashboards, formula fields, and campaign influence. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining marketing attribution models and explaining their limits. - Strong understanding of the B2B funnel, lead lifecycle, and pipeline mechanics. - Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills and experience with a BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent). - Financial fluency: comfortable with CPO, ROI, and budget-to-pipeline planning. - Able to turn analysis into a clear recommendation for an executive audience, in writing and in the room. - High standards for accuracy. You check your own numbers before anyone else has to. **What Sets You Apart?** - Experience with RevSure - Working SQL or Python - Experience with the wider GTM stack, such as Chili Piper, Zuddl, Nooks, Peerbound, Gainsight, Clay, Influ2, or Reachdesk. - Experience in cybersecurity, highly technical B2B markets, or enterprise go-to-market motions. **What Success Looks** - Marketing leadership has one place to go for daily insights on how the marketing organization is performing - Marketing, Sales, and Finance trust and use the same pipeline numbers. - Budget owners can see CPO and ROI for every program and act on it. - Leadership reviews run on dashboards, not hand-built spreadsheets. - Recommendations from analysis change where the next dollar goes. **Travel Required** This role may require minimal travel for internal offsites. Job-related travel expenses are reviewed and must be approved by your manager. **Perks of Horizon3** - Inclusive Team: We value diversity and promote an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. - Growth Opportunities: Be part of a dynamic and growing team with numerous career development opportunities. - Innovative Culture: Work in a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. - Hybrid & Remote Work: We embrace a mix of remote and hybrid work models depending on role and location, including our Chicago office, where some roles require regular in-office presence. - Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive salary, equity and benefits.
