This role's primary focus is on the North American basketball segment, driving brand awareness, increasing demand, and positioning Hudl as the go-to sports technology provider for buyers across analytics, human performance, and player recruitment personas — with secondary ownership of the ice hockey pod and its outputs. The ideal candidate is highly strategic, execution-focused, and deeply knowledgeable about the elite basketball landscape. ### **As the Sr. Marketing Manager for Basketball & Ice Hockey, you will:** - **Own strategy and execution.** Lead the marketing strategy for North American basketball and ice hockey, creating quarterly plans with KPIs to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer retention through integrated, multi-channel campaigns. You'll ensure this strategy aligns with overall business goals by collaborating closely with sales and strategy teams. - **Lead the pod.** Take ownership of the basketball and ice hockey pod's output — guiding campaign development, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining a strong go-to-market process and cross-functional alignment. - **Champion a test-and-learn culture.** Implement a test-and-learn environment where you challenge assumptions, use data to optimize campaigns, scale what works, and continuously improve our approach. - **Partner and collaborate.** Work with central marketing functions (web, content, social, design) and product marketing teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality outputs for product launches and feature rollouts. Maintain strong relationships with leaders in Product Management, Customer Success, and Support to ensure business alignment. - **Manage external partners.** Manage external agencies in partnership with the Paid Media Manager, ensuring alignment on strategy, market insights, and performance expectations. - **Understand the customer deeply.** Utilize insights from Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Decision Science to maintain a strong understanding of the elite buyer. Dive into customer research and product engagement metrics to inform the team's efforts. - **Analyze and report.** Track and report on marketing performance, providing clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on key metrics such as CTR, CPL, CRO, and ROAS. - **Manage budget and resources.** Ensure marketing budget and resources deliver positive ROI by evaluating channel mix and progress toward key business metrics ## Location Time spent collaborating with other Hudlies in-office will be a regular part of how you work. We're currently prioritizing applicants within commuting distance of Lincoln, Nebraska. Plus, every five years, we give you a paid sabbatical to unplug and recharge. - **Guarantee autonomy.** We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you'll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas. - **Encourage career growth.** We're lifelong learners who encourage professional development.
