Senior Marketing Manager (International Growth)

Job description

## Shape How the World Discovers Hospitality with OpenTable Are you a strategic marketer who thrives at the intersection of high-impact brand media and performance growth? Do you want the agility, ownership, and speed of a tech startup, backed by the scale and resources of a global industry leader? With millions of diners, 70,000+ restaurant partners and 25+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a passion for helping restaurants thrive. Our world-class technology empowers restaurants to focus on what matters most – their team, their guests, and their bottom line – while enabling diners to discover and book the perfect restaurant for every occasion. Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global team and its portfolio of metasearch brands. Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture. **A little about the role...** We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead upper-funnel brand media and help scale our growth across international markets. You’ll take strategic ownership of international brand investment, shape channel strategies across Out-of-Home (OOH), Connected TV (CTV) and digital video, and play an important role in defining how we grow and reach diners internationally. This is a role with plenty of scope to think big, test ideas and get hands-on with making them happen. Why this role is unique; - Startup autonomy, enterprise scale: Build systems, test new channels and move quickly, while having the backing of world-class data, resources and an established global brand. - True end-to-end ownership: From building investment cases and managing agency relationships to designing lift studies and getting hands-on with execution, you’ll have real ownership of the outcome. - Cross-functional influence: You’ll bring together media agencies, regional market leads, performance marketing, creative partners and adtech engineering teams to make sure everyone is moving in the same direction. - Room to grow: As our International Growth practice continues to scale, there’s an opportunity for your remit and leadership responsibilities to grow with it. 📈 What you’ll drive; - International Brand Media Strategy: Own the end-to-end strategy, channel selection and investment allocation for upper-funnel activity across key international markets, including OOH, CTV and digital video. - Full-Funnel Growth: Connect brand media with performance channels, CRM, organic and social to create a seamless diner journey and maximise ROI. - Advanced Brand Measurement: Move beyond last-click attribution by establishing frameworks for lift studies, brand tracking and econometrics to better understand and optimise the impact of international investment. - Cross-Functional Growth Systems: Partner with creative and engineering teams to build campaign infrastructure and explore how AI-powered tooling can help us move faster across markets. - Executive Leadership Alignment: Turn complex media and growth insights into clear strategies, business cases and roadmaps that help senior leaders make informed decisions. - Test, Learn and Scale: Spot opportunities, test ideas quickly, learn from the results and scale what works. **👋 Our ideal candidate...** - You bring proven experience in integrated, brand or growth marketing, ideally in-house within a consumer tech brand or high-growth international business. - You’ve directly planned and executed campaigns across upper-funnel channels, such as OOH, CTV, linear TV or digital video, and understand how to measure their incremental impact. - You understand how brand, paid digital, CRM, content and product growth work together, and you’re equally comfortable thinking about the big picture and getting into the detail. - You have an owner’s mindset. When you spot an opportunity or something that could work better, you’re comfortable taking the initiative and finding a solution. - You know how to scale campaigns across multiple countries or regions and enjoy collaborating across different markets, cultures and time zones. - And finally, you love dining. You’re genuinely excited by restaurants, hospitality and the unique energy of dining culture. 🍽️ **What we can offer you...** - 5 weeks paid vacation - Private health & dental insurance - Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year - Focus on mental health and well-being: - Company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth - Company-paid subscription to Headspace - Annual company-wide week off a year - the whole team fully recharges (and returns without a pile-up of work!) - Paid parental leave - Time off for your birthday - Paid volunteer time - Focus on your career growth: - Development Dollars - Leadership development - Access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings - Travel Discounts - Employee Resource Groups - Income protection and life assurance - Employee Assistance Program - including 24/7 GP & free legal advice - Pension plan contributions - Discounted gym membership - Bike2Work - Season ticket loan - Social events & Thursday happy hours - Free lunch 2 days per week The best connections happen face-to-face, whether you’re sitting down to dinner or having coffee with a coworker. That’s why OpenTable has adopted a hybrid workplace model. This role aligns with that approach, with an expectation of coming into the office two days a week—giving employees the best of both worlds: in-person collaboration and flexibility. **Work Environment & Flexibility** At OpenTable, we pride ourselves on fostering a global and dynamic work environment. As a team member with us, you will benefit from a schedule tailored to accommodate a global workforce operating across multiple time zones. While the majority of your responsibilities may align with conventional business hours, there will be instances where you are expected to manage communications - via calls, Slack messages, or emails - outside of regular working hours to effectively collaborate with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, and/or address urgent matters. OpenTable will always abide by and consider local laws and regulations. **Inclusion** We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We know the best ideas come when we bring different voices to the table, so we're building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants we serve—and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the application/interview process, or on the job, we’re here to support you. Please reach out to your recruiter to request any accommodations. #LI-Hybrid
