Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

**Main tasks** - Design of mechanical components including and not limited to suspension, steering, brakes and subframes - 3D detailed design CAD models and assembly installations plus related 2D technical manufacturing and assembly drawings using Catia V5 - Full lifecycle ownership of mechanical design components and from concept through testing and validation to reliability, problem solving and performance development - Support validation testing plus support design of any required test jigs and or rigs - Support vehicle and test car builds and problem solve technical related issues - Work with suppliers to support manufacture and optimization. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aeronautical engineering or similar background - Proven professional experience in motorsport with 7+ years experience.
